 The horticulture industry is forever changed with the introduction of the BrightGreen Living Wall Planter. By graphically arranging a collection of plants in our patented polymer cells and mounting them on a vertical surface, designers, architects and even the weekend gardener are now presented with a whole new world in which to express their creativity. The BrightGreen Living Wall Planter consists of a single polymer unit and is lined with our proprietary moisture mat. Simply populate the planting cells within each unit with plants purchased at your local garden center by following the planting instructions provided in this guide.
 Mounting your planter is easy! Each unit can be hung separately or in groups. Tilt the unit upright and attach it to any sound, vertical surface using the mounting bracket included with your kit.
Commercial:
Vertical planting can be applied to any size wall in any climate zone, even in commercial environments. Both the aesthetic beauty and the wellness factor of large, lush green facades compliment the urban landscape. Consider the ecological benefits of sustainability, heat reduction and habitat recreation and the addition of vertical planting becomes an even better compliment to concrete structures.
 Interior:

Little Prince of Oregon is excited to introduce four types of Living Walls. We have three for South or West facing exposures. One is a WATER MISER™ Living Wall that includes a selection of Sedums and Sempervivums. Another is an HERB Living Wall that includes a selection of long lasting ornamental herbs that have culinary uses as well. The last module for South or West facing exposures is a mix of hardy perennials selected for color and texture.
We are also offering a North or East facing exposure Living Wall. This module is a mix of hardy perennials suitable for part shade to mostly shade locations. These plants are not intended for hot and sunny locations. Please refer to the tag on each module to determine the exposure requirements.
Your plants will benefit from adding a liquid feed to your watering schedule several times during the growing season. Follow the label directions from the fertilizer company. With fertilizer comes growth. Be prepared to prune your Living Walls as needed to promote new growth and achieve a nice compact look. Trimming a small amount more often is better than trimming too much at once. Always leave some foliage remaining after trimming.
Maintaining your Living Wall requires regular watering. The key to watering the Living Wall is to water slowly from the top of the module until water begins to drain from the bottom. It may also be necessary to water your living wall in the winter. Check the soil for moisture a couple times during the winter. Irrigate to maintain a wet but not saturated soil. Allow your Living Wall to dry slightly between watering. The WATER MISER™ module will require less water than the other units. (For installation instructions see pdf and online brochure below)
~ Water thoroughly ~
Water enters through the top watering chamber and spreads evenly across the moisture mat. Plants can be watered manually from a hose with very low pressure. Additionally, drip line systems or the patented Irrigator™ will provide water for your Living Wall.
Little Prince grows plants for the Living Wall modules. CLIFF HANGERS®, WATER MISERS™, GROUND CONTROL®, MADE IN THE SHADE, and STEPABLES® are perfect choices for most Living Wall plantings. The choice is yours: buy pre-planted Living Walls or create your own work of art with plants from Little Prince.
